One Night Stan's Bar Room & Divery (2023)

My boyfriend and I were visiting from Vancouver and came to check out this bar. It's so beautiful! The vibe was just amazing. One of the lady who was working there, her customer service skills are just up there! She was so kind and bubbly. Too bad my boyfriend and I came here when there was restrictions but we can't wait to come back in then future when the restrictions are lifted!

Cool patio(s). Friendly server. Good food. Bonus points for dog friendly patio. Only visited in the day but looks pretty lit at night.

random stop for a couple of drinks before the Roughnecks game. Very cool, great drinks, fun staff. will be back!

Stopped by for a quick drink here (highball vodka and sprite). Cool vintage decorations on the walls, vibrant music, cool bartenders and regulars

Love this bar. Amazing service, the atmosphere was perfect and the drink selection was big. One of my highlights of being in Calgary for the weekend.

The food here is so so so amazing. Lots to choose from, and fantastic specials. Pictured are the beef tacos in a corn tortilla. Delicious, with generous portions. Five stars for sure!!!

Love the energy, love all the staff! The door guys are so friendly and first patio id brought my pitty to and they all love him! He can't wait for our nightly walks and going to see the staff there!!! Food is also amazing!

Very good tacos, just as tasty as the Mexican place next door. Great Happy Hour 2-6pm, almost everything $5. Friendly staff. Blues-rock music on the patio. Very casual, me like👌

A wonderful bar that is just SO fun! Had a slight mixup with being charged twice but they were able to help me out right away! Lot's of respect to this team.

I like this place because their fries are crisp & the beer is relatively cheap. There's this cute thing on the menu called "my girlfriend isn't hungry" (or something). It's a side of fries and some biscuits; you can add it to an order but it's really the perfect little snack if you're 2 girls grabbing cheap beers together, and feeling more "snackie" than hungry. Cute-grubby atmosphere.

Great dive bar! Probably one of the best dive bars in Calgary, circa 2021.

The beautiful Nicole was amazing!!! She had a big section and still killed it. If you're looking for a friendly server that is great and attentive, she is your girl and we will definitely be coming back because of her. Thanks Nicole :)

I am heartbroken that I had to shut down indoor dining. Your dollar dogs and Mac and cheese were getting me through the pandemic. But I promise on my name Jason Kenny the vaccine is coming and I will be playing the ring game indoors with you soon. Catch you on your sweet patio soon. I like the decor and colorful people you always meet here. The food goes well with theme. It's small but a gem for sure. A definate stop on ur 17 av adventures!

Food was awesome, service was great and the upstairs patio was super private as we had a section to ourselves. You also can bring your dog and the servers brought him water and gave him a chew toy. Deffs lives up to the relaxed atmosphere and will definitely come back.

We went here on a Thursday night and had a great time! Drinks are cheap in comparison to most places on 17th Ave, and they had good music playing. I only wished there was a dance floor! They have this fun hook on a string game that we played for hours.Their patio is pet friendly, so I’d love to come back during the day with my pups.

Nice patio, I had few drinks 2 nights in a row, because it was the only place crowdy. Service was slow though, my glass was empty half of the time

Super casual cool pub with amazing staffs

Kyle is the best and has made our night warmer by stealing our umbrella and now we are all cozy. We love Kyle!

Awesome patio, great staff, cool small dive bar menu with great Mac and cheese. They also allow our crazy dogs up on the patio so that is a bonus

Good place to chill and have some drinks but still reminds me too much of the old place.

Play great music including 90s love ballads. Still have Christmas lights up for some reason. Pour drink in goblets.

This place is always an awesome time. It is one of my all time favorite bars, you can grab a game and play it at the table with friends. There is always great beer on tap and the crowd that comes here is super friendly. If you like great drinks and deep fried food this is your place. On the weekends I recommend coming before 9:00pm because it gets packed! (Give the ring toss game a shot in the back, really fun!)

Friendly, laid-back atmosphere, good food, amazing service. The music is an eclectic range of hits and the food is delicious. Not a ton of options for vegetarians however, aside from veggie burgers and salad. The patio is very dog friendly, bring your pupper on the patio and hang out with them. Happy hour 3-6.

Hey I just wanted to say I love this bar it’s one of my friends and I’s favourite places to go on honestly any night of the week. I was there this past Friday and our server Christina was the absolute sweetest human. She was kind and sweet and just so pleasant. If I could give her a review it would of been a thousand stars. Keep up the great attitude girl. It’s a look.

I'm always well received and well taken care of by the staff here. I'm always solo and find it's easy to make friends with the other patrons. Great vibe...great times.

Customers and bar are fun.Bartenders have refused to give printed bills multiple times to double check pricing. Have had one try to make my friend double pay before.Have had a server bring a wrong drink and refuse to fix it and then tell my girlfriend that her drink was made correctly. (Gin and Vodka taste differently unfortunately).Besides a few instances like that, we continue to go back for the atmosphere and fun that we are able to have. Just keep an eye on your drinks, your money, and your common sense and you’ll be fine

Haha had such a great time on Saturday with a buddy of mine. Had to stay and try the food after hearing from Jacky that they had hotdogs. The fries are amazing and the hotdog was very good too. The old fashioned I ordered was a bit sweet but nothing to send back. They have a decent selection of craft beers on tap. But above all - its a fun bar. Lots of games to play and great servers.

Visited Calgary from Portland, OR and the name is what brought us in the first time. Service was amazing! All of the employees and the owners were awesome. Super fun atmosphere and really good food. We ended up going back a second time because we liked it so much the first time. Should definitely go if you're in Calgary!

Service was amazing. The bartenders asked my name and were calling me by name. The server we had for our group always made sure we were taken care of, even though there was around 25 of us. The bouncers were really kind and at one point let me know that I could stay but they weren't going to serve me anymore after I had drank too much, which to me is great service. I appreciated that very much. Everyone was awesome and the bar is really cool.

If you're in the mood to party or just want to grab a drink at the bar, this is the place to be! One Night Stan's is a gem of a place, hidden away in a basement off of 17th ave. Inside it's lit up by neon signs, Buck Hunter flickering in the corner, and the walls are covered with eclectic ads and posters from years gone by. The bar feels like an American dive bar, it lives up to it's name. The servers are all very helpful, fast and pleasant. Stan's offers a pretty substantial drink menu at reasonable prices. Great place to start your night, end your night, or hang out somewhere in between!

Fun spot with for the most part awesome staff. There is some good specials and the ring game is a pretty fun time waster. Unfortunately the last time I attended I came quite late and only had one drink that night. The server handed us bills that had multiple extra drinks (my friends were quite intoxicated) when I mentioned they were wrong she assured me they were right and went to grab the machine. She came back and I insisted they were wrong and pointed out some clear mistakes. At this time she agreed but didn't ask us to tell her what we had, instead came back with perfect bills the second time. Seemed fishy that they became perfect without us having to explain what was wrong... If I had been drinking I would not have noticed, or would've taken her word that they were right when I challenged them the first time. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt but when I return I will make sure to keep track of my drinks.

Had some drinks on the patio. Went inside to pay and really enjoyed the atmosphere inside. There's buck hunter and another game inside also which is cool. Good drinks and friendly server. Didn't have to wait for any extended period even though it was a busy day on the patios. There were a few dogs hanging out on the patio (customers are free to bring any well-behaved dogs for the patio), which was pretty cool. Would recommend for drinks on a sunny day on 17th ave.

I live right around the corner from this little gem. The inside is decorated nicely and service is as fast as it can be when busy on weekends. The food is great (I can't say no to their fries).The one thing I really enjoy about Stan's is that they have a dog friendly patio and if you're lucky enough to make it up to the upstairs one you will still have good service. Thanks to Alycia(spelling) for the great service.

Davis is an amazing Bartender, could beer good tunes and Rocky playing. What else could you ask for?

The decor is fantastic and the staff was amazing, it was really quiet but I assume that's not the norm here usually based on my experience, the place felt clean and the food was amazing!

Great Evening! Service was on top of the game. Friendly, prompt, eye contact. The food was fresh, creative and sauces were delicious. Did not taste like sweet sour sugar - very authentic. Atmosphere is laid back, fun, clean and lots of TV's :) will be coming back regularly. Very impressed overall.

This was a decent pub that has a dog friendly patio with a good view of the street. Delicious fries, quick service, and healthy portions. My girlfriend and I didn't leave disappointed and the dog was happy to be welcomed.

Came in on a Saturday night. Packed. With lots of needy people. Let's just say our server Jacqui (spelling) was top notch. She noticed whenever our drinks were getting low and kept attention to our table even with the super busy atmosphere. It's people like her that will keep me coming back

I keep on coming back for the lovely little patio that is up top. It feels like you're hanging out in a treehouse up in the trees. This place also has super tasty and very reasonably priced menu items, tons of great craft beers on tap and the service is quick and top tier!

First time visiting and I loved it. 5$ happy hour and amazing food. You have to go here.

One Night Stan’s - exactly what you’d expect when you encounter a place with this much neon! Laid back, TVs everywhere, games, food that sticks to your ribs (get the Mac ‘n Cheese or a burger) and music that everyone sings along to. The party is REAL at Stan’s.

Fun casual spot to grab a drink. They have some growing pains, but every time I return it’s better and better! Food is nothing special, but it’s nice to go to a place with an easy, non-pretentious food menu. Pet friendly patio is a great addition.

Went here last night for a drink with my gf. I asked to start a tab and the bartender said he just needed a credit card. I asked him if he wanted my ID as well (you know so he doesn't mix the cards up) but he said he didn't need it. Long story short I can officially mark credit card fraud off my bucket list now since he gave me someone else's card last night. And I used the tap feature at Rona's this afternoon. Wouldn't recommend starting a tab here when its busy. Music was dece.

$5 brunch on Sundays: 2 eggs, 2 sausages, hash browns, 2 bacon. 8f you want 2 slices of toasts, it costs $1.50.The brunch is good for the price and the server is friendly. Typically have the football game on.
